  • Explosion ending code:

    44-53-44-53-215-215-332-332

I have not seen what happens because I have no money, and the video says it will let you find out yourself, so if anyone does this ending, please tell me what happens.

    • it sucks man

    • People never seem to let it go, the Explosion Ending is literally a failfail scenario and was made to be a downer ending.

    • Then try the code

    • Just a warning video, and it's not hard to try getting The Stanley Parable by whatever way you can think of. I know one..., but I'm not sharing, you'll figure it out.

    • It's been quite a while since the game has been out and the article for that ending on the wiki already clarifies that the buttons in that ending are literally not programmed to do anything relating to progression. Saying "Then try it" doesn't mean a thing.¬†

    • it's a troll.

    • Well I realize that most of these comments say that the Wikia page already says that there's no way to stop the explosion, out of curiosity, I tried the code given and it failed

    • I THINK I FOUND AN ESCAPE! LEGIT!

I was watching jacksepticeye play this ending, he had set it off and ran back into the room, trying to stop the detonation. out of the side of the screen, for a split second, you can see a door with green lights. . . OPEN. but when he turned around again, it was closed

        Loading editor
    • when you get close to that door it just shuts in your face.

      ive tried it.

    • I think it is not possible to type all these numbers in the time limit.

        Loading editor
    • when you open it by bless of picker, it is just nothing. dead end.

Nope. Tried it. It just locked up.

    • Isn't it obvious that this ending was completely set up to be a no-win? Too bad some folks will desperately try to prove otherwise, even if they get nowhere. It's all fake folks, just eat it up and let it go.

I tried it with source code cheats that enable me to open doors and teleport. This is what happened, for anyone who might be curious.

      1. Door does not open when you are close enough to get into it.

      2. Door shuts if you get close to it.

      3. Door has an invisible wall behind it, which renders it impossible to enter, even if you do manage to reach it before it shuts.

      4. (Teleported thru the wall into the corridor) Corridor ends in a dead end. No way to pass it, and teleporting into it makes you stuck, as what happens if you teleport into a solid wall.

Conclusion: Door is a decoy and is never meant to work. Using cheats and going into it leads to a dead end and dialogue keeps on going as normal. You die even if you are in the corridor. All other doors have walls behind it and lead to nowhere. After you enter the room through the double doors, they immediately shut and spawn walls behind it. You cannot teleport through. The only way to "escape" the ending is to teleport to another room with an ending, which doesn't count as it is simply covering up the explosion ending with another ending. There is NO legitimate way to escape. Period.

    • There is no code or script in the game that allows you to survive the Explosion Ending. You simply can't stop the timer. YOU SIMPLY CAN'T.

(Not attempting to sound rude, btw)

This ending was ingenious, I tell ya Withersoul! It's wonderful how the devs would bring up the discussion of being given control but also not giving the player real control, since it's just an interactive sequence where you can kill time waiting for the countdown to reach zero.

Yes it is, I've also heard that if you enter the code and press the big red button at exactly 00:08.XX something might happen.

Do it yourself then, and film yourself attempting it. After that, use Avid or Adobe Premiere, or whatever editing software you use to forge proof.

Holy crap. Holy crap. People are still going on about this.

There IS NO WAY TO STOP THE EXPLOSION. THERE IS NOTHING IN THE GAME FILES. THERE IS NO ALTERNATE ENDING. AND MOST OF ALL, THERE IS NO MENTION OF A "WAY TO STOP THE EXPLOSION" ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET.

Those "I've heard somewhere that..." that you fucks talk about? Where'd you hear about it? A Youtube comment? Every see (or even HEAR) of anything that tells you what happens if you stall the explsion? Yeah, you don't. Because it doesn't exist. It's literally a stupid troll comment. ("o guys i found a way to stop it lel type 696969 within 2 seconds and it stops!1 i dont have any proof tho cuz i suck. u guys have to try it out for urselfs lol") Why does anyone believe this bullshit??

No need for that. Calm down, bro, that attitude won't get you anywhere.

I agree that it's annoying how people keep on trying to "escape" the ending despite confirmation of impossibility, but there's no need to rage like that.
